LANSFORD HISTORICAL SOCIETY HOLDS OPEN HOUSE

Open House, Lansford Historical Society, Lansford, 5-31-2015 (46)Members and volunteers with the Lansford Historical Society and Museum held an Open House last Sunday (May 31, 2015).
Society President Bill Harleman said the museum, which also houses the Panther Valley Public Library, was the former Methodist Church. It was purchased by the society in 1999.
Harleman encourages residents to contribute items to the society. If you are able to donate any items (large or small), call Harleman at 570-617-4683 or member Dale Freudenberger at 570-597-6722.
The museum is open every Thursday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM.
In addition, the society meets once a month on the third Wednesday starting at 6:30 PM. All are welcome to attend and join in on the meetings.
