Two men were transported to the hospital this evening (Friday, June 5, 2015) after crashing their vehicle into two trees along Catawissa Road in Walker Township.
Emergency personnel were dispatched around 6 PM to the area just north of Leiby’s Farm Market for a report of a crash with possible entrapment. They arrived to see a black Cadillac wedged between two trees.
A firefighter on scene stated the trees probably prevented the car from crashing into two parked cars in an adjacent home’s driveway.
Responding were New England/Walker Township Fire Company, Tamaqua’s South Ward Fire Company, Tamaqua Rescue Squad, Tamaqua Ambulance, Lehighton Paramedics, State Police and others.
Ziegler’s Towing removed the vehicle.
