Pictured is a photo by Jeff Knadler of a small train car today (Friday, June 5, 2015) in Tamaqua. Knadler said Andy Muller Jr., Chairman/CEO of the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad, owns it and took it out for an inspection trip today from Port Clinton to Tamaqua and return.
These types of cars, nicknamed “speeders”, are officially called “Motor Cars”. If you look on the side of the car, you’ll see “MC-1”, which represents Motor Car No. 1.
