An almost-monthly occurrence in Tamaqua, a tractor-trailer struck a pole at the Five Points intersection (US209, US309) around 8:10 PM yesterday (Friday, May 29, 2015). No injuries were reported. Responding were Tamaqua Police officers Karl Harig and Matt Houser.
