
Below are photos and video from Lansford’s Memorial Day Service held on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Park in Lansford.
The event is hosted every year by the Lansford American Legion Post 123.
Master of Ceremonies was Richard D. Pogwist, Past Commander, American Legion Post 123.
Singing the National Anthem was Angela Nardini.
Invocation and benediction was performed by Reverend Jeremy Benack, Pastor, Grace Community Church in Lansford.
Reading General Logan’s Order was Panther Valley High School JROTC member Hannah Hill.
Placing the Memorial Wreath was Marine Corps Corporal George Tessitore.
Guest speaker was Iraq and Afghanistan veteran Air Force Staff Sergreant Nathan Krajcirik.

Reading Flander’s Field was Brooke Turner, student, Panther Valley High School.
In addition, members of the Panther Valley High School band performed patriotic music during the ceremony.
Reading Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address was Zachary Gilbert, student, Panther Valley High School.
Roll Call of Deceased Veterans (since last Memorial Day) was read aloud followed by the Panther Valley JROTC Firing Squad and playing of “Taps”.
