
Wednesday, June 3, 2015 is seasonal opening day of the H.D. Buehler Memorial Bungalow Pool in Tamaqua. Pool will open at 11:30 AM. No daily (non-season) passes will be sold during the first day.
Pool canteen, operated by Hang Loose crew, will also be open for food, snacks and refreshments.
Pool will close for the season on Sunday, August 23, 2015.

SEASON PASS RATES:
— TAMAQUA SCHOOL DISTRICT RESIDENTS: $10.00 per person (courtesy of John E. Morgan Charitable Foundation).
— OUTSIDE OF TAMAQUA SCHOOL DISTRICT: $100.00 per person.
— TEMPORARY GUEST PASS: $20.00 per person per week; (Visitors staying with season pass holders) (2 weeks maximum).

—– Monday thru Friday (6 yrs. and older) $ 5.00 per person
—– Saturday and Sunday (6 yrs. and older) $ 6.00 per person

—– Monday thru Friday (6 yrs. and older) $15.00 per person

Individuals who submitted Pool Pass Applications by April 30, 2015 will receive their passes in the mail before opening day. Individuals who submit applications after the April 30 deadline are not guaranteed to receive their passes by opening day.

Oh the joys of not reading what you type! I’ll say it again it seems to me that Tamaqua wants to keep others out! It is a shame if you happen to visit family or friends you have to pay such a crazy price! But that is Tamaqua for you, if it don’t make sense they are for it!

The pool doesn’t need to become over crowded or destroyed by people outside the community. The prices are fair and it weeds out the people that are only out to cause issues or problems. Everyone doesn’t realize that the Morgan family wanted something nice for the RESIDENTS of Tamaqua specifically when then put forth the money to make it a beautiful place. Anything that is well maintained and cared for is going to cost more money than usual, bottom line..
