BALLOON RELEASE HELD DURING NO. 9 MINE & MUSEUM’S OLD FASHIONED PICNIC TO CELEBRATE 160 YEARS

Balloon Release, Program, 160 Years, No 9 Mine and Museum, Lansford, 5-24-2015 (81)Members, volunteers and guests of Lansford’s No. 9 Mine & Museum and the Carbon County Labor Chapter held a balloon release on Sunday, May 24, 2015 to celebrate the mine’s 160 years.
The mine is the world’s deepest deep mine.
Carbon County Commission Bill O-Gurek spoke prior to the balloon release.
