Members of the Anthracite Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (ARAACA) held a car show during the No. 9 Mine and Museum’s Old Fashioned Picnic on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Lansford.
This year, they are celebrating their club’s 30th year as a region in 2015 with its 30th annual car show. Continuing tradition, they will hold five area cruises which enable the club to donate to worthwhile area causes.
The club’s 30th Annual Car Show will be held Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 8 AM to 3 PM at the McAdoo Little League Field, Hancock and Grove streets, in McAdoo. Show is held rain or shine. During the event, a special participation award will be given to the first 200 pre-registered vehicles; special awards to best of show stock and best of show modified; dash plaques to the first 250 registered vehicles and special awards for all AACA senior and first junior automobiles.
