Members of the East End Fire Company in Tamaqua donated hundreds of smaller items to the Tamaqua Volunteers community giveaway. The donated items were left over following the fire company’s rummage sale held recently to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Next Donation Drop-Off and Tamaqua Community Giveaway is Saturday, May 30, 2015 next to Schickram’s Car Wash in Tamaqua. Donation drop-off is from 8 AM to 9 AM. Giveaway (for Tamaqua residents only) is at 9:15 AM. Volunteers are always needed.
