Contractors are tearing down 133-135 Gay Street in Tamaqua.
Neighbor Thomas Edwards, 90, stated 133 hasn’t been lived in since the 1940’s, while 135 was lived in within the last 10 years.
He added that both properties were in deplorable condition.
Tamaqua Borough is paying $28,970 for the demolition.
