ST. JOHN’S U.C.C. IN TAMAQUA DONATES OVER 1,000 ITEMS TO TAMAQUA COMMUNITY GIVEAWAY

Parishioners and volunteers with St. John’s United Church of Christ in Tamaqua donated thousands of small items today (Monday, May 18, 2015) to the Tamaqua Volunteers monthly Tamaqua Community Giveaway event. The items were left over following a two-day rummage sale at the church. They added their appreciation to all who donated and volunteered.
After be sorted and bagged by church volunteers, Tamaqua Volunteers Frankie Latham and John Leibenguth helped to load, deliver and unload all the donations in preparation for the next free giveaway.
The next Donation Drop-Off and Tamaqua Community Giveaway event is set for Saturday (May 30, 2015) next to Schickram’s Car Wash in Tamaqua. Donation drop-off is from 8 AM to 9 AM.
