PREPARING FOR MEMORIAL DAY IN COALDALE; TWO SERVICES SCHEDULED SUNDAY, MAY 24TH

TamaquaArea.com / Raising a new flag at Coaldale’s Veterans Memorial in Seek are Tom Keerans Sr., President of Coaldale Borough Council, and Jimmy Rickert, Commander, Coaldale American Legion.

Coaldale veterans groups, community members and volunteers are preparing for Memorial Day weekend. The Coaldale American Legion and Coaldale VFW are holding two Memorial Day Services on Sunday, May 24, 2015. The first service starts at 1 PM at the Seek Memorial on Bull Run Street in the Seek section of Coaldale. Second similar service starts at 2:30 PM in front of the Coaldale Borough Hall in Coaldale.
Members of the PV-JROTC and Panther Valley High School Band will take part in both services.
Services will be held in the Coaldale Complex in case of heavy rain.
