SCHUYLKILL NATIVE MEGAN BRENNAN (POSTMASTER GENERAL/CEO UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE) SPEAKS DURING SCHUYLKILL CHAMBER LUNCHEON

Luncheon via Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, Mountain Valley, Barnesville (44) - CopySchuylkill native Megan J. Brennan, 74th Postmaster General & CEO United States Postal Service, First Woman Postmaster General and Schuylkill County native served as keynote speaker during this year’s Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon held Friday, May 1, 2015 at Seasons Restaurant at Mountain Valley Golf Course in Barnesville.
Megan J. Brennan officially became the 74th Postmaster General and CEO of the U.S. Postal Service on February 1, 2015. Appointed by the Governors of the Postal Service and announced in November, Brennan had been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the Postal Service, and previously held roles as Vice President of both Eastern Area and Northeast Area Operations. Brennan began her 29-year Postal Service career as a mail carrier in Lancaster, PA. Brennan earned a Master of Business Administration degree as a Sloan fellow as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is also an aluma of Immaculata College of Pennsylvania.
