This is the eighteenth in a series of Tamaqua Historical Society archive photos taken by local historian and photography archivist Donald R. Serfass.
The photo, titled “Stop The Presses”, taken May 6, 2015, shows Tamaqua Historical Society carefully moving a 1.5-ton printing press, dated 1916, once owned by Meredith’s Stationery, West Broad Street. Model: Craftsman. Chandler & Price Co., Cleveland OH.  Hope’s Towing helped with the move.
