In 2006, Schuylkill County tax records indicate the building and property had a total fair market value of $796,220.

According to an old report, the building was closed and left empty “due to the soil conditions and the changes and movement of the building to date, and the potential for sudden settlement of the structure, and the serious distress in portions of the structural frame system…”
