Mahanoy City Police Department made 3 drug arrests yesterday (Wednesday, April 29, 2015) in the borough.
Information on their Facebook page reads:
“Mahanoy City Police department arrested Michael A. Martin, 37 of Millersburg, PA; Robert S. Wentworth, 33 of Shenandoah; Rachael Pleva-Sanko, 36 of Shenandoah. Martin was charged with Possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, misbranding of medication, possessing instruments of crime, prohibited offensive weapons, unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance. Wentworth was charged with Possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, driving while suspended. Pleva-Sanko was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pleva-Sanko also had an outstanding arrest warrant for conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance. All 3 have been committed to the Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 straight cash bail.”

The post adds, “We would like to make it very clear, if you are in the business of selling illegal drugs, maybe you should consider a career change or relocate your business out of the Borough.”
