PRESS RELEASE – HARRISBURG – Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks) and Representative Jerry Knowles (R-Berks/Carbon/Schuylkill) congratulated the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad for recently being named 2015’s Regional Railroad of the Year according to Railway Age, a railroad magazine publication.
The two local lawmakers presented Chairman and CEO Andrew Muller with congratulatory citations from the Senate of Pennsylvania and the House of Representatives at the state Capitol on Monday.
“As an employer of over 150 local residents, I’m pleased to see Reading and Northern Railroad earn this coveted national distinction,” Argall said.
“Andy and the entire Reading and Northern Railroad family can be proud of this prestigious achievement,” said Knowles.
