48-Hours Video in Tamaqua is expecting to close its doors by late June of this year, according to employees. It is no longer offering rentals and is selling off its video inventory. Employees added that the store will keep restocking its shelves with videos from other stores and encourages people to stop and browse their large selection of videos for sale.
The store, one of eight 48Hrs. Video stores, has been a staple in Tamaqua for about 15 years. Its first location was located at 801 East Broad Street. It later moved to its current location, 143 Railroad Street.

In addition, their Lehighton store is also closing and, like the Tamaqua store, is open only for sales, not rentals.
Other locations consist of Allentown (2123 Union Boulevard), Brodheadsville (Route 209), Schnecksville (5040 Route 873, Suite C), South Bethlehem (202 West 4th Street), Forks Township (1700 Sullivan Trail), and Pen Argyl (1309 Blue Valley Drive).
Their website is http://48hrsvideo.com.
