Members of the Tamaqua Volunteers group gave away hundreds of used chairs, mirrors, and pictures donated by Comfort Inn in West Hazleton. The event was held outside the Tamaqua YMCA yesterday (Wednesday, March 25, 2015).
Prior and during the event, members of the Tamaqua Volunteers rented a box truck to transport all the items to Tamaqua. The group stated their appreciation to the following for donating money towards the rental truck: Frankie Latham of DJ Franc ($80), Ronny Ziegler  of Ziegler’s Auto Repair & Towing ($80), Behr family in Tamaqua ($20), and Coal Region Militia ($20). They also stated their appreciation to the Tamaqua YMCA for use of their lot.
The amount of items required volunteers (consisting of Eric Becker, Robert Craigle, Eushina Craigle and another) to make two trips.
The group added their appreciation to Comfort Inn owner Charmi Shah, general manager Jeaninne Motroni (Hometown), and maintenance Ignatius Francois for their continuous generosity to the group and community.
