Interstate 81 southbound was closed and detoured at the McAdoo exit for over an hour today (Friday, March 20, 2015) after a tractor-trailer jack-knifed across both southbound lanes at mile marker 133.2 in Delano Township. Despite considerable damage to the tractor, the driver was not seriously injured.
Emergency personnel detoured southbound traffic off the interstate at the Delano and McAdoo exits.
Responding or assisting with detours were Delano Fire Company, McAdoo Fire Company, Ryan Township Fire Company, State Police and others.
