
News crews and other officials were treated to a sneak peek of the new Mi La Chinese Buffet in Tamaqua today (Saturday, March 7, 2015). The restaurant, (formerly Hunan House Restaurant), 123-1 West Broad Street, is scheduled to open tomorrow to the public.
Some officials present during the event were Senator David Argall; Representative Jerry Knowles; Tamaqua Mayor Chris Morrison; Tamaqua Borough Council President Micah Gursky; Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Linda Yulanavage; Tamaqua Historical Society President Dale Fruedenberger; Tamaqua Historical Society member Donnie Serfass and others.

Business hours are Monday to Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 10 PM.
Lunch hours will be Monday to Saturday from 11 AM to 3:30 PM. Lunch cost is $2.99 for ages 2-5, $4.99 for ages 6-10, and $6.99 for adults.
Dinner hours will be Monday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday from 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 10 PM. Dinner cost is $3.99 for ages 2-5, $5.99 for ages 6-10, and $9.99 for adults.
Carry-out buffet costs $3.99/lb for lunch, $4.99/lb for dinner, $7.99/lb for seafood only, and $5.99/lb for regular mix seafood buffet.
Senior citizens over age 65 get 10 percent off.
