VIDEO CLIP AND PHOTOS FROM MAKE-A-WISH POLAR BEAR PLUNGE AT DEER LAKE

Below are a quick video clip and photos from the Make-A-Wish Polar Bear Plunge held Saturday, February 27, 2015 at Deer Lake. The event included a bake sale, chili cook-off and Chinese Auction.
This year, organizers chose to use a foldable soft plastic water storage tank rather than the lake, due to safety and logistical reasons. Plungers said the water in the tank was extremely cold.
Key volunteers stated their appreciation to the Deer Lake/West Brunswick Fire Company, volunteers and all who supported the cold event.
