Approximately 40 people took part in the Molly Maguire Meander tour this afternoon (Sunday, February 22, 2015) in Tamaqua. The tour, lead by “Porcupine Pat” of the Schuylkill Conservation District, involved walking to a about dozen key places pertaining to the Mollies.
The two-hour event was sponsored by Schuylkill On The Move.
Porcupine Pat said there a numerous resources available that explain a number of key locations on the tour. Two of which are ExplorePaHistory.com or a book by Donnie Serfass titled “Iron Steps“.
