About 90 students and staff from all PathStone Child Development classes in Coaldale took part in their annual Hoodie Hoo Day today (Friday, February 20, 2015).
Hoodie Hoo is held at noon every February 20 to either welcome spring or scare away winter. The tradition involves people dressing in decorative or scary attire and yelling “hoodie hoo” as loud as they can.
The event, normally held outside, was held in the center’s gymnasium due to single digit temperatures outside.
Today was the perfect day for Hoodie Hoo since temperatures reached minus 8 degrees and included wind chills in the negative twenties.
