
Tamaqua businessman Rich Shupp was installed as President of the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. Shupp, who owns Schuylkill Computers in Tamaqua, has served as a member of the Chamber for 7 years and on it’s board for 4 years.
In addition to the Chamber, Shupp has been involved with the Tamaqua Lions Club, Tamaqua Rotary Club and other community projects. He is also active with the New Life Assembly of God in Tamaqua.
“My business has been here 7 years and we just merged into a new company called Cloud Service Center LLC. We have two locations with more technicians and new technology,” said Shupp.
Other Chamber officers installed were secretary Ann Ostergaard, treasurer Linda Marchalk and vice president Ben Turrano.
