Registration packets will be available for pick up at all three Tamaqua Area School District elementary schools beginning February 23, 2015.
Kindergarten registration week is Monday, March 23 to Thursday, March 26, 2015.
– Monday, March 23 – Rush Elementary School.
– Tuesday, March 24 – Rush Elementary School.
– Wednesday, March 25 – Rush Elementary School.
– Thursday, March 26 – West Penn Elementary School.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD: 

1.  Call Tamaqua Elementary School at 570-668-3306 beginning March 2, 2015 between the hours of 9:30 – 11:30 AM and 1:00 – 3:00 PM to schedule an appointment during Kindergarten Registration week. In order to register for Kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old before September 1st, 2015.

2.  At registration, your child will be evaluated by a classroom teacher, a nurse, and a speech therapist.

3.  Items to bring with you to registration:
– Your child,
– Proof of residency (tax receipts or rent receipts),
– Your child’s health and immunization records,
– Your child’s original birth certificate, and
– Completed registration packet.
