Contractors have started major renovations to the Tamaqua Historical Society Museum. The majority of the work is expected to be completed in about 6 months or so.
Dale Freudenberger, President, Tamaqua Historical Society, said it will take an additional 6 months to bring back all the museum items and carefully place them on display. Volunteers will be needed for that.
