No one was injured in a single vehicle accident this evening (Sunday, February 1, 2015) along Burma Road in Blythe Township, near the Ryan Township and Port Carbon border.
Emergency personnel were called to 2100 Burma Road for a motor vehicle accident with injury. Upon arrival, they noticed a newer model red Ford sedan stuck in the snow and brush along the westbound side the road. The driver and passenger in the vehicle refused treatment.
Responding were Ryan Township Fire Company, Hometown Fire Company, Delano Fire Company, Mahanoy City Fire Department, Ryan Ambulance, Hometown Fire Police and others.
Multiple State Police vehicles were also on scene.
