Mahanoy Township Police Department announced this morning (Friday, January 30, 2015) via Facebook that they have a man in custody following an incident yesterday evening involving possible indecent exposure and open lewdness at the Shell gas station in the township.

“The Mahanoy Township Police Department is asking for help in identifying this white male wearing a black north face hoodie who is wanted for Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness, and other various charges. On 01-29-2015 at approx. 1753 HRS the suspect walked into the Shell gas station on the Morea Road in Mahanoy Township. He then walked into the bathroom for several minutes and then walked towards the counter revealing his genitals to the cashier then placing them on the counter. The suspect then quickly exited the gas station and fled in a White Ford Freestyle Station Wagon with unknown PA plate. Any information please contact the Mahanoy Township Police (570) 773-1239.”
