Crews spent hours yesterday (Saturday, January 24, 2015) removing a two-unit tractor-trailer from the side of Interstate 81 after it crashed down an embankment.
Troopers told news media that the truck, operated by FedEx, was traveling south on Interstate 81 around 6:30 AM near Hazleton (Luzerne County) when it crashed in the northbound lanes.
The northbound lanes of the interstate in the area were down to one lane for most of the morning.
It is unknown if there were injuries or what caused the crash.
