“BE COOL FOR OUR SCHOOL” POLAR PLUNGE SATURDAY AT MAUCH CHUNK LAKE

Volunteers, staff and students with St. Joseph Regional Academy in Jim Thorpe are hosting their second annual “Be Cool for Our School” Polar Plunge on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Mauch Chunk Lake in Jim Thorpe.
Registration starts at 9:30 AM. First plunge starts at 11 AM.
Cost is $35. All proceeds go toward operating costs for the school.
Principal Amanda Salovay has promised to plunge if students collect enough pledges to meet their fundraising goal of $10,000. She will go up to the ankles for $1,000, up to the knees for $5,000, up to the waist for $10,000, and all in for over $10,000.
