A driver snapped a power pole around 7 PM today (Wednesday, January 21, 2015) at the intersection of Fairview Street and Marian Avenue in Rush Township. The vehicle, a Ford Expedition owned by McNelis Home Care, was removed by Hope’s Towing.
Volunteers with Hometown Fire Police remained on scene until PPL could respond and secure the hanging pole.
On Friday, January 16, another driver snapped a utility pole about 100 feet north of the intersection on Fairview Street. That driver was taken away by police. Click HERE to read that story.
There were no serious injuries in either crash.
