Emergency personnel were called just after 3:30 PM today (Wednesday, January 21, 2015) to the area Interstate 81 southbound for a motor vehicle accident with possible confinement and injury. The crash occurred at mile marker 134.4, about a mile south of the Delano exit.
Firefighters said that a high-lift jack was used to stabilized the vehicle (a silver Lexus) while the male patient was removed. The patient refused treatment.
Responding were Ryan Township Fire Company, Delano Township Fire Company, Ryan Township Ambulance, and State Police.
