Workers with the Tamaqua Borough and Tamaqua Water Authority are on scene this evening (Monday, January 12, 2015) of a water line break near the intersection of Pitt Street, Jerome Street and Swatara Street alley in the North Ward section of Tamaqua.
The break was reported around 5:30 today.
There is no water boil advisory. A water boil advisory is only required if a water line does not have positive pressure.
Repairs are expected to last into the night.
