A quick layer of sleet fell over Tamaqua around 3:30 AM this morning (Monday, January 12, 2015). Despite it’s short duration, it still made for slippery roads and sidewalks.
The rest of the early morning calls for periods of light freezing rain – lasting off-and-on until 8 AM.  Expect a wintery mix of precipitation to start around 10 AM and continue until around 6 PM.
