Tamaqua Police are investigating a burglary that occurred sometime last night into this morning (Sunday, January 11, 2015) at Tamaqua Tobacco Outlet, 56 Mauch Chunk Street, in Tamaqua. Passersby to the business this morning told TamaquaArea.com the glass front door to the business was broken. It has since been boarded up. They added that police were seen at the business investigating earlier in the day.
Management said they are open and plan to remain open.
