SANTA ARRIVES IN SUMMIT HILL TO BENEFIT MARY D FIRE VICTIMS

Santa Arrives on Fire Truck to Benefit Mary D Fire Victims, Summit Hill (29)Santa Claus arrived via fire truck at 28 East Hazard Street in Summit Hill on Sunday, December 21, 2014.
The event was to raise awareness and donations for the two families left homeless during a house fire in Mary D last month.
The event included free snacks and hot refreshments.
Jenn Fox said on Facebook, “Tara I. Nelson and I would like to thank the people who both helped put together and donated their time, snacks, drinks and toys for the Meet Santa event. I would also like to give a huge thank you to the Diligence Fire Company No. 1 and Steve Mau for your time and bringing Santa on the fire engine, not to mention the tour of the fire house as well as educating the children while there on safety and the engines.Thank you to those who donated to the Nelson/Denning family. Thank you Steve, Linda Davis Mitchalk, Georgiann Davis, Dad, Jason Zellin, Jade Washousky, Christopher Alan Field, Louie Mitchalk, Michael Romig, Robin Krapf, LibbyKendra Nelson, Kamryn, Deven, Lexi, Derek, Megan Matousek, Dunkin’ Donuts and others.”
