LANSFORD AMERICAN LEGION DONATES TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS

The Lansford American Legion Post 123 made donations to four local organizations.
They were Lansford Fire Company, $500; Lansford Police Department, $500; Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League Toys for Tots, $250; and Lansford Alive, $100.
In addition, the Sons of the Lansford American Legion gave $200 each to the fire department, police department and SCMCL Toys for Tots.
The donations were presented during the Legion’s annual children’s Christmas party on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the post.
