Hundreds of individuals and families in Eastern Schuylkill County received holiday assistance via the Tamaqua Salvation Army Angel Tree, food basket and Toys For Tots distribution held on Thursday December 18, 2014 at the Corps. Members of the Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League Detachment 626 were also on-hand during the distribution.
This served as the second toy and food distribution for the holiday season, the other held in Lehighton.
Tamaqua Salvation Army Major Sharon Whispell and members of the Marine Corps League stated their appreciation to those who donated and helped during the holiday season.
