Organizers held a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at the Tamaqua Elks Lodge on Sunday, December 14, 2014 to benefit Jodi and Jereme Denning, their two children and grandmother after their house was destroyed by fire on Sunday (December 7, 2014).

Fundraiser organizer Angela Krapf stated on Facebook, “I cannot thank everyone enough for all of your support today! The amount of donations for the dinner and the attendance at the dinner was more than I ever expected! It was such a huge success and could not have been done without all of your help! Thank you so so much!!”
Krapf also stated her appreciation to the following organizations and businesses: (in no specific order)
Basile’s Restaurant, Boyer’s Food Market, Burger King, Citizen’s Fire Company, Guers, Guy’s Flowers, La Dolce Casa, Lansford Fire Company, Leiby’s, Padora’s, Pieracini’s Market, Romana’s, St. Luke’s, Tamaqua Italian Club, Two Kings Pizza, West Penn Rod and Gun Club, and so on.
In addition, Glady’s Neff, bartender during the event, donated all her tips to the fire victims.
