HELPING EMERGENCY RESPONDERS DURING A FIRE

Pictured are just a few photos of people, organizations and businesses coming to the aid of emergency responders working in below freezing temperatures during a terrible duplex fire on Sunday, December 7, 2014 in Mary D.
Members of the Tamaqua Volunteers group and the Tamaqua Salvation Army stated their appreciation to everyone who provided assistance to all the emergency responders during the fire. Some included Brandon Scull, Cameron Mankovitch, Tamaqua Turkey Hill, Hometown McDonalds, Tamaqua Burger King, neighbors and a few anonymous individuals that went out of their way to donate rock salt.
Emergency units on scene were Mary D Fire Company, Tuscarora Fire Company, Brockton Fire Company, New England/Walker Township Fire Company, Tamaqua fire companies, Coaldale Fire Company, Port Carbon Fire Company, Yorkville Fire Company, Hometown Fire Company, New Ringgold Fire Company, Kaska Fire Company, Pottsville Fire Company, Tamaqua Rescue Squad, Ryan Township EMS and Rehab, Tamaqua Ambulance, area fire police, Tamaqua Salvation Army, Red Cross and others.
