TAMAQUA SALVATION ARMY GIVES THANKS TO SCHROEDER FAMILY FARMS IN BARNESVILLE

Tamaqua Salvation Army Major Sharon Whispell and members of the Tamaqua Volunteers group stated their high appreciation to Dan A. and Cindy Schroeder of Schroeder Family Farms in Barnesville for donating many trees to needy families during the holidays.
Dan said they planted their first Christmas tree in 1959. Their farm has grown to include over a dozen species.
He added that it takes around 10 years to create a good Christmas tree.
Both Dan and Cindy gave appreciations to their son, Daniel D. Schroeder, and right-hand man Mike Davis for helping them with the farm.
