A mother, father and daughter living at 601 East Union Street in Tamaqua were transported via ambulance late Monday night (December 8, 2014) after firefighters found dangerous levels of carbon monoxide (CO) in their home.
Firefighters determined the cause of the high levels were from a malfunctioning coal burner at a connected home at 603 East Union Street.
Responding were Citizen’s Fire Company, Lehighton Ambulance and Tamaqua Ambulance.
