Lansford Alive (L.A.) received a matching grant of $500 from the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development on behalf of the Main Street Lehigh Valley program. L.A. members added that  multiple small projects were done throughout Lansford for community improvement. Most of which involved “green” projects, improving existing flower beds, planting trees, decorating the borough hall with wreaths, rain barrel for the community garden and so on.
Special spoken appreciation was given to Jodi Mika, Grace Community Church and all who have supported and continue to contribute to the Lansford Community Garden.
Lansford Alive meetings are held at Cabrera’s Pizzeria and Restaurant, 161 West Ridge Street, in Lansford. General meetings are the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM; excluding December.
