Members of the Tamaqua Lady Raiders Soccer Team held their annual banquet on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Capriotti’s in McAdoo.
In addition to special appreciations and awards, senior class members were recognized. Each was given an opportunity to speak about their time on the team. Seniors were Kayla Brown, Jazmine Goho, Carly Sassaman, Kayla Wickersham and Hannah Zoba.
2014 Soccer Season Stats: Overall record was 6-12. League record was 4-8.
2014 Team Accomplishments:
– 36 games won by graduating Class of 2015. (Record is held by the Class of 2009 with 73 games won.)
– Eleven different girls scored goals on the varsity level.
– Scored 47 goals as a team. (Record is 91 goals in 2010).
– First time Varsity goals: Angela Ceci, Jazmine Goho, Lori Kisner, Emma Pester, Emily Wenzel and Kayla Wickersham.
– Girls overall team record stands at 178-121-8.
2014 League Honors:
Allison Amodea – 1st Team All League Defender.
Morgan Boyle – 2nd Team All League Forward.
Lynn Kistler – 2nd Team All League Mid-Fielder.
Carly Sassaman – Honorable Mention Goalie.
