PRESS RELEASE – The First Family of the Commonwealth will be celebrating a Schuylkill County Thanksgiving, thanks to Koch’s Turkey Farm and Yuengling Brewery.

This morning (Tuesday, November 25, 2014), Senator David G. Argall (R-29) joined Brock Stein, Vice President of Strategic Development for Koch’s Turkey Farm, to present the governor and his wife with two fresh Koch’s Organic Turkeys and a six-pack of Yuengling Oktoberfest.

Earlier this year, Koch’s Turkey Farm developed a recipe in collaboration with Yuengling to cook the turkeys in the brewery’s seasonal beer, Oktoberfest.

“It’s an exciting day for Schuylkill County,” Argall said. “It is great to see the First Family enjoy a Schuylkill County meal in the Governor’s Residence this year.”

“We are honored to have the privilege of providing two of our organic turkeys for the Pennsylvania First Family’s celebration of Thanksgiving. As proud Pennsylvanians, we wish the Governor and his family a cheerful start to the holiday season,” Stein said.

The first lady is a Schuylkill County native and grew up in Pine Grove.
