Highwood USA LLC  in the Tide Industrial Park in Hometown held a Turkey Bowl on November 18 and 19, 2014 to collect food and raise money for the Tamaqua Salvation Army. This was a friendly competition between Highwood employees involving bowling pins and a frozen turkey as the “bowling ball.”
Charlie Vasiliou was the undisputed turkey bowler champ with the most number of strikes.
