Fabrizio, who has decorated the park since 2007, said that Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will turn on the park lights on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 6 PM.
Each tree and pole in the park is connected separately to a specially made control box.
When lit, each will light up in unison or separately; and to any color scheme Fabrizio chooses.
In 2012, Fabrizio, with help from Tony Fannock, buried over 1,000 feet of plastic tubing and wire to create this light display.
The Tamaqua Spirit of Christmas Festival is scheduled for December 5, 6, and 7, 2014.
On Friday, December 5, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will arrive via motorized sleigh around 6 PM to light the park and fountain.
The Christmas Tree Lighting at the park will take place on Sunday, December 7 at 6 PM.
In addition, a very large holiday light display at Fabrizio’s home (on Green Street in Brockton) will be turned on at 5:30 PM Thanksgiving Day.
