PRESS RELEASE – The Schuylkill United Way’s (SUW) 2015 Campaign, ‘Giving Hearts, Giving Hope’ concluded at 2pm on Thursday November 20, 2014. The goal of the campaign was $1,015,000.00, and $995,000 (98%) was raised. Though the goal was not reached, the SUW is thankful for the many companies and individuals who donated. Their kind acts of generosity will echo through the community of Schuylkill County through the SUW Partner Agencies.
To quote Vince Lombardi, “The measure of who we are is what we do, with what we have.” The SUW is moving forward with sincere thanks to those who give, volunteer and advocate for the Schuylkill United Way and the Partner Agencies. We could not continue to serve Schuylkill County without the community support we receive every campaign and throughout each year.
