Members of the Strawberry Playhouse in Tuscarora held a performance “Godspell – The Musical!” six days in October.
“The show featured adaptations of many familiar biblical parables, primarily from the Gospel of Matthew, the show culminates with Jesus’s betrayal by Judas, his denial by Peter, and his trial and crucifixion, which is done in a charming, tuneful, and imaginative way,” said Lucille Fala-Brennan, show director and playhouse founder. “Above all, Godspell is about love and the forming of a community.”
The cast included Cassidy Rose Munley, Christopher Fulmer, Daniel James Dempsey, Erin Allison Sebia, Karen Calarco, Makenna Copeland, Stephanie Mau, Tim Zaspel, Zach Lonergan, Lily McDonald, Alexis Bradbury, Alison McCord, and Khalan Malone.
Crew consisted of Director Lucille Fala-Brennan, Assistant Director Sue Mau, Music Director Stephanie Mau, Choreographer Erika Cassell, Technical Director Jack Brennan, Assistant Technical Director Erika Cassell, Art Director Karen Calarco, Set Construction Manager Bobby Hartranft, Costumes and Props Manager J & L Productions, and House Manager Chris Walters.
